Frequently Asked Questions
As a member of the Potters Woods Homeowner's Association, I pay annual dues. How much are the dues? How do I pay them? And what sorts of things are my dues used for?
Membership assessment amounts (dues) may vary from year to year. Current assessment amounts and payment information is available from any member of the board. Customary expenses include: common area mowing, fertilizer, plants, irrigation, spot & security lighting, liability insurance, pool care, pool repair, pool bathroom cleaning, utilities for pool house, special events, legal fees, state fees, bank fees, postage and general office supplies.
Trash / Recycling Pickup
Trash is picked up every Monday and the trash containers may be placed at the end of your driveway after 6:00pm on Sunday. Recycled items are picked up every two weeks. Download the recycling calender here and note that we are on the yellow or "A" schedule. Trash and recycled items are NOT collected on the following Mondays due to holidays. After Monday holidays, trash and recycle collection will be delayed one day.
Mailboxes
If you need to replace your mailbox and / or mailbox post, we have a company that all Potters Woods residents are to use to keep the mailboxes uniform. See MAILBOXES page.
How is snow removal handled in our neighborhood?
Potters Woods is within the city limits of Noblesville and therefore snow removal is handled by the Noblesville Street Department. Each resident is responsible for clearing their own driveways, walks and sidewalks in front of and along their property lines, as well as access to their mailboxes.
How is yard waste and leaf removal handled in our neighborhood?
The city will pick up limbs or brush that you have lost in a storm - simply put them in the easement next to the curb. In the fall, leaves left in the easement next to the curb are collected through November - early December.
